The Chamber’s aim is to address the needs of the business community and to positively influence the environment in which business operates via a powerful lobby group representative of all levels of business.
Promotion Of Existing Trade
The Chamber seeks to enhance the means whereby business may optimise its potential for profitable trade.
Promotion Of New Businesses And New Business
The Chamber contributes to the promotion of the Benoni Metropolitan area as a potential base for the establishment of new businesses and as a market for businesses that have heretofore not traded with Benoni.
Dissemination Of Information
The Chamber maintains a mechanism whereby business people may, through an organized network, participate in the business decision-making process at local, provincial and national level.
Common Interest Forums And Introductions
The chamber facilitates the creation and maintenance of forum targeted at addressing issues of special interest and assists in obtaining access and introduction to people and organizations.
Complaints, Obstacles And Ethics
The Chamber will, within the limits of its established role, receive – for assessment and action – complaints and reports of obstacles that inhibit the practice of sound business or that impinge on accepted business ethics.
Networking
The Chamber strives to provide situations and events that enable business people to associate both formally and informally for mutual gain.
Supportive Services
In addition, the Chamber consistently seeks other ways and means of assisting local businesses to operate and prosper through the provision of a variety of supportive services.
